Network Scanner Software

I wrote the first version of this program to find and solve a real networking related problem, and the current version is an advanced tool designed to IT professionals.

The NetworkScanner's current functions:

• It can detect and list the devices connected to the network. (including their hardware (MAC) address) This version can discover devices without ICMP (ping) reply, or without opened, active ports.
• It can find, and mark the devices with running criptocurrency miner software on them.
• Discover devices in predefined network areas.
• You can try to remote shutdown devices.
• You can use Ping and TraceRoute commands.
• You can simulate a DoS attack using extremely huge amounts of ICMP, TCP, or HTTP requests. (Only for testing purposes of your own network protection system)
• Searching open ports on a selected device.
• Calculating the speed of your local network (LAN) and calculating the currently usable network speed.
• The software writes a log file of every single action inside it, to help the professionals with documenting their attempts to find an error, or to fix it.

The software is currently in BETA phase and it's already helped to discover and solve many problems.
