I'm Imre Vida, a biomedical engineering MSc student and electronics engineer from Hungary. This site showcases some of my projects.

A few words about me:

I am a biomedical engineering MSc student and electronics engineer focusing on combining technology and healthcare to create impactful solutions. My work spans cognitive neuroscience, cardiology, and critical medical device development, where I apply engineering principles to advance healthcare. I've been involved in designing and developing life-saving medical devices that enhance patient care. My projects merge data analysis, signal processing, and hands-on prototyping to bridge the gap between science and technology. I'm always looking for new challenges.

My passion for engineering started early. Born in 2000, I was fascinated by electronics and programming from a young age. In kindergarten, I learned how to light up bulbs using batteries and wires, experimenting with parallel and serial connections. By primary school, I was working with analog and digital integrated circuits, even building a basic alarm system that activated when an object was moved.

As I progressed, I expanded my skills in programming, primarily using C#. With guidance from a mentor, I explored basic and some advanced programming concepts and algorithm design. Receiving my first Arduino kit opened new possibilities, allowing me to create innovative projects such as a smart flowerpot that monitored plant hydration and a phone-controlled smart-home model.

During high school, my projects became increasingly sophisticated, from building a 3D printer from electronic waste and precision CNC machines to developing self-driving exploring robots and network scanner software. This journey laid the foundation for my current focus on cutting-edge medical technologies.
